FENDI

In 1925 Adele Casagrande and her husband, Edoardo Fendi, founded a workshop of furs and leather goods with an adjoining boutique in Via del Plebiscito in Rome. Thanks to the superb quality of the products, the brand acquires international fame in a short time. In the '30s, following the death of his father, the brand passes into the hands of the 5 daughters of Edoardo, Adele, Paola, Anna, Franca, Carla and Alda: the breakthrough comes thanks to the meeting with an emerging Karl Lagerfeld, who starts a long journey of research that will bring Fendi to be one of the most avant-garde and revolutionary brands of all time. He was also responsible for the invention of the iconic logo with crossed F's.

Since 2004 Fendi has joined the French group LVMH, without losing the link with craftsmanship, Made in Italy and its cultural roots. The brand is currently under the creative direction of Lagerfeld and Silvia Venturini Fendi, creator of one of the maison's must have bags, the Baguette cult bag.

WHY WE LIKE FENDI

Karl Lagerfeld and Fendi, a combination that marks the longest collaboration in the history of fashion. The great eccentricity of Lagerfeld is perfectly reflected in the Fendi brand, painting an independent and imaginative woman. The garments are rigorous, romantic, designed for a strong but also delicate feminine figure, who expresses herself through her own clothes, with a mix of tradition and modernity.

The brand, strongly linked to the city of Rome, guarantees a Made in Italy of high quality craftsmanship, especially reflected in the attention to detail of garments and accessories. Fendi in fact has always stood out for its graphic design that specially stands out in the IT bag of the brand, the most desired, timeless pieces of the brand's heritage. Dressing Fendi means not being afraid to appear powerful and passionate.
